Vintage-by-the-Sea began life in 2010 and in April 2023 I also opened our shop in Marske-by-the-Sea.&nbsp; I completed my Master of Arts in Antiques from the University of Central Lancashire in the UK, but my interest in antiques and collectables was influenced by my late Great Grandfather and late Great Uncle, who each enjoyed their specialisms in antique jewellery and furniture respectively. Like them, I am committed to offering value as well as quality to customers both new and old. I hope you enjoy browsing the collections of antique, vintage and retro items . Ornate early 19th Century Sheffield plate spirit tea kettle chased all around with flower scrolls and foliage. Made in Sheffield by J Cresswell 1811. There is a crest on one side of the kettle and a cast leaf finial on the hinged lid. The handle has ivory insulators. The kettle base is cast and decorated with foliage and faces. The original burner is still there and stands on three scroll trefoil decorative feet. In good overall condition.
