Ornate early 19th Century Sheffield plate spirit tea kettle chased all around with flower scrolls and foliage. Made in Sheffield by J Cresswell 1811. There is a crest on one side of the kettle and a cast leaf finial on the hinged lid. The handle has ivory insulators. The kettle base is cast and decorated with foliage and faces. The original burner is still there and stands on three scroll trefoil decorative feet. In good overall condition.
