Rare Early 19th Century French Enamel Hand Painted Cigar Case C1810

Rare Early 19th Century French Cigar Case with Enamel Hand Painted Scene of an Officer kissing the hand of a lady outside a stately home within a gilt lined border.
Measures approx 13cm in length x 7.5cm width.
Made around Napoleonic era. C1810.
Colours still vibrant, case all intact and hinge in working order. Overall in very good condition with light wear for its age, a very small fine line of crazing as can be seen on the ladies dress. This is smooth to touch and is not as deep as a scratch. Barely noticeable to the naked eye and can be seen on the images as these are magnified. Enamelling is in very good condition. Gilt interior.
